/  Music   /  From Vision to Reality: How We Design with You and Navigate Building Control Together

At Build360, we believe that every great space begins with a shared vision. Whether you’re transforming a retail unit, reimagining a hospitality venue, or fitting out a new entertainment concept, your ideas are at the heart of everything we do.

Here’s how we turn your vision into a build-ready reality—together.

Step 1: We Design with You, Not Just for You

The first stage of our process is all about collaboration. We don’t come in with a fixed idea of what your space should be—we listen, learn, and work alongside you to shape a design that fits your business, your audience, and your budget.

We’ll sit down to understand your goals, discuss what’s possible within the space, and explore different concepts and finishes. Whether you’ve got sketches on a napkin or just a rough idea, we’ll help bring it to life with mood boards, layout plans, and 3D visualisations if needed. It’s your space—we’re just here to help you make the most of it.

Step 2: Turning the Design into Technical Drawings

Once we’ve landed on a concept you’re excited about, we move into the technical phase. Our in-house design and architectural teams convert the agreed concept into precise technical drawings. These include:

  • General Arrangement Plans (GA drawings)

  • Elevations and Sections

  • Mechanical & Electrical Layouts

  • Detailed Construction Notes and Specifications

These drawings are what the trades will work from, and they form the backbone of any Building Control submission.

Step 3: Navigating the Building Control Process

We handle the entire Building Control submission on your behalf. This can often feel like the most daunting part of a project, but we make it smooth and stress-free.

Here’s how:

  • We liaise directly with approved inspectors or your local authority, ensuring they have all the documentation they need.

  • We anticipate questions, addressing compliance with fire regulations, accessibility standards, ventilation requirements, and more.

  • We revise and resubmit if any amendments are required, keeping you informed throughout.

Our goal? To get your project signed off and ready for works without delays.
