💨 The Issue
The entertainment centre’s external air handling units – particularly six large fan units – had been generating persistent low-frequency noise, affecting the quality of life for neighbouring homes. Despite previous attempts to mitigate the issue with sound barriers and timing controls, complaints continued.

🔧 Our Solution
We mobilised our strip-out and mechanical team to carefully plan and carry out the safe decommissioning and removal of all six fan units. This involved:

• Isolating all electrical and mechanical connections

• Coordinating out-of-hours crane lifts to minimise disruption to the centre’s operations

• Ensuring all works complied with health & safety regulations

• Disposing of all removed units responsibly through licensed recycling channels
